Last time I had my oil changed I went to VIP and I was very pleased with the service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. I would highly recommend anyone to get their car serviced by VIP!
When she called me and handed over the phone to shawn, Shawn informed me he had in fact written the email to me (under the guise of another female employee) and was aware of the terms offered and still tried to weasel out of it.
Never again will I ever buy anything from VIP.
I send my fiance down at 2 pm with a copy of the email. Shawn was kind enough to change every facet of the deal, and try to railroad my fiance into paying more, and opening a credit card.
I have been going to this VIP for 17yr. I have had a great experience for the most part. If I have one complaint. I would say that it seems like they look for things to try and come up with things to fix when I come in for a state inspection. I take it to another place and they never find any problem with the car and issue me a sticker without any problems.
Have always had good experiences at this VIP. Recently, though they really went above and beyond for me. I purchased tires from them (which were mounted and balanced quickly and professionally as always), and the tires happened to have a rebate (which is partially why I selected them). When filing the rebate, the company rejected it due to lack of information on the receipt. I went in to the store and spoke to Charlie the manager about maybe getting a receipt with more details. Charlie poked around in the system, but the printouts kept coming out wrong. Eventually, Charlie decided to call the rebate company himself and see if he could straighten it out, which unbelievably actually worked! Thanks Charlie!
I emailed them asking about specific tires and services that other places offer for free. We haggled out a deal for the tires, allignment, and an oil change.
Mind you, this is in writing - all via email.
In any case, I appreciate the excellent service at this VIP, and I recommend them.
After much hassle, he finally honored most of what we had haggled out.
Huge THANK YOU'S to the guys and gal at the Old Town VIP!! On Saturday I found myself in dire need of their services as I discovered I was missing four lug nuts on my front tire. They went above and beyond getting me in and out within 25 minutes. Customer service was exceptional!! I would highly recommend them to anyone!
